Hello Here is the workout that was done on Tuesday with Coach Meg: 

Lead The Way 

5.19.2020 

Lunges 

 

  1. Regular Footwork Ladder 

  • Ladder 

1 foot up and back 

R foot up and back 

L foot up and back 

Icky Shuffle up and back

Lateral Side Step up and back

Pick any you want up and back

 

  1. Get on a line – Lunge 3x – Right and 3x – Left 

  • Focus: Forward Angle – SHOULD NOT END ON THE LINE OR BEHIND THE LINE

  • Weight transfer – Chest/Head over leg - should be able to end easily having the backfoot follow through and ready for the next shot 

  • Weight comes from back leg 

 

  1. Add the Ball 

  • Place the ball a little bit closer then where you had finished lunging 

  • Lunge through it and clear it – following the same focus points as above 

  • 3x Right and 3x Left 

 

  1. Shuffle with Lunge/Clears 

  • Shuffle back and forth in a 5 yard space for 10 seconds 

  • When I say done, finish the shuffle in whatever direction you are going in 

  • SET, drop the ball out in front, and Lunge to clear it 

  • Essentially just building on what we did before this 

  • 3x Right and 3x Left 

 

  1. Finishing with a Footwork Ladder 

  • Same as above

Warm up: 2x through 

- 1⁄2 kneeling windmill x5ea - Bear lift to downward dog x6 - Prisoner hip CAR x4ea - Shin box sit and reach x3 breaths 

A1) Prisoner isometric split squat – 3x:20ea 

A2) BW squat jump – 3x8 

B1) Single leg 1 DB hip hinge (RDL) – 3x6ea 

B2) Rolling plank (side-front-side) – 3x3 (there and back) 

C1) Eccentric push up – 3x5 

C2) Alternating accordians – 3x10 

END WITH 90/90 (feet on wall) deep belly breathing x5
